Guidelines for Reviewers

The main purpose of introducing the Peer-Review system is to assess objectively the quality and relevance of particular articles   /   papers, etc. for inclusion in the Journal for publication as well as soliciting advices and guidelines continuously for quality enhancement keeping in view the current developments and trends in the fields of Social Sciences in particular and in the academic world in general.

The Board of Editors is sincerely committed to having such instructions and advices as and when available from the reviewers and for this purpose ‘Peer-Review Board’ will also act as Board of Advisors until a separate Board of Advisors is formally constituted.

With a view to attaining the purpose stated above, the editors will remain in constant touch with the reviewers while doing their jobs.

This assignment is purely honorary at this stage and hence, the editors will contact individual member(s) keeping in mind the areas of interest of the reviewer concerned so to ascertain his availability (in consideration of his pre-occupations) before sending manuscripts to him with the identification of the contributors concealed.

Postal and related expenses (both ways) in this respect will always be borne by the publishers.

The reviewers are entitled and authorized to send their views and suggestions objectively and independently to the board of editors directly within a month in any manner, they think appropriate.

The reviewers may also suggest changes in Styles and Referencing system and such suggestions will be gladly considered.

The reviewers may also ask established contributors to contribute their papers / articles to this journal for qualitative improvement of the journal and for benefits of students and learners.

Contribution of articles and papers from the reviewers themselves are always welcomed by the Board of Editors.

A complimentary print copy (soft copy, if desired) of the Journal will be sent to each of the reviewers within a week or so, once the journal is published by the publisher.
